Wang graduated from the Music Department of Fu Jen Catholic University.

From 1989 to 1992, she attended the Monpazier Music Festival in France, where she studied under Jacques Cazauran. From 1993 to 1995, she continued her musical development at the JISA Music Festival in Victoria, Canada, studying with the renowned double bassist Gary Karr. She is currently a double bass instructor at the junior high division of Chingshin Academy in Taipei, where she also coaches the school’s string ensemble.
