CELLO

I-Ting Chen

Chen graduated from the New England Conservatory and studied under David Wells, Peter Stumpf, Keith Robinson, Aldo Parisot, and Andres Diaz.

In 1998, she won the Bronze Medal at the International Society of Arts and Letters String Quartet Competition in Florida. She has performed with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Miami Symphony Orchestra, and the New England Honor Symphony Orchestra, and served as Acting Principal Cellist of the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra.

In 2008, she was invited to perform a cello concerto with the Hunan Symphony Orchestra in Fenghuang Ancient Town. In 2014, she was invited by French Mayor Patrick Moon to perform at the Chaon Music Festival. In 2015, she founded the Château de France Music Festival.

She is currently teaching at Dunhua Elementary School and Kuang Jen High School.
