Chih-Yin Wei

Wei Chih-Ying graduated from the National Taipei University of the Arts and later pursued further studies at the Hamburg Musikhochschule in Germany, where she earned a Master's degree in Performance. She studied under Lin Ke-Ming, Wang Wei-Wei, and Wolfgang Mehlhorn.

During her academic years, she received the United Daily News Scholarship and won the Taipei Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. While studying abroad, she participated in the Bavarian Youth Orchestra and received mentorship from Wen-Sinn Yang, Young-Chang Cho, and Peter Buck.

Since returning to Taiwan in 1998, she has served as the Assistant Principal Cellist of the National Symphony Orchestra and has taught at the Music Department of Shih Chien University and Minghu Junior High School.
