Szu-Chi Li

Szu-Chi Li graduated from NTNU and studied under Jui-Se Yang. During her time in school, she was principal viola of the orchestra. Later, she went to the University of Michigan Ann Arbor obtain the MM degree in viola performance and studied under Yizhak Schotten. In 1998, Szu-Chi Li was selected to perform with the AYO on Europe tour in 2000. She won the excellent prize in the NTSO Viola Concerto Competition, and the second place in the NTSO Chamber Music Competition in 2005. During her studies, she was selected to participate in the master class of Nobuko Imai,、Jesse Irvine and Caroline Coade. She is also committed to music education, teaching in many music classes and string orchestras. In 2016, she formed the Art Nova Quartet and held many chamber music performances. Besides, she performed with the Lincoln Center Chamber Orchestra (CMS) in 2020.
