Chi-Chuan Teng

Chi-Chuan Teng is a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) from The Ohio State University under the guidance of Professor Emeritus Edward Adelson. Chi-Chuan was selected for three consecutive years to attend Tanglewood Music Festival as a full scholarship fellow and received guidance from the Juilliard string quartet members Joel Smirnoff and Samuel Rhodes. Also, she won the first place in viola of the National Student Music Competition. Chi-Chuan held teaching position as adjunct professor in Fu-Jen Catholic University and Christ’s College. Besides teaching and regular performances as an orchestral and chamber musician, she has been invited as soloist in some occasions while music considered to be a way of humanistic care. Among them are International Holocaust Memorial Day Event held by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, R.O.C. and New Hope Social Welfare Foundation Fundraiser concert (2015).
