Wei-Hong Chen

Chen holds the Diplômé Supérieur de Violon and the Diplômé Supérieur de Musique de Chambre from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot.

In 1995, he was selected for the Asian Youth Orchestra, performing in Hong Kong, Japan, and the United States. During their U.S. tour, the orchestra performed at the White House and the United Nations for the 50th Anniversary Concert.

In 2004, he won the first prize at the French U.F.A.M. International Chamber Music Competition.

He has served as a music teacher at Taipei Ren Ai Junior High School, conductor of the string orchestras at Ji Ren Junior High School and Da Feng Elementary School. Currently, he is the conductor of the Long Men Junior High School String Orchestra. He holds a teaching position at the Yamaha Music Foundation Taiwan under Teacher Administration.
