Ting-Fang Lee

Ting-Fang Lee received her master’s degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, studying with James Buswell IV.

She has won multiple top prizes in national music competitions in Taiwan and was awarded the Outstanding Artist Award by the College of Humanities at National Tsing Hua University in 2002.

During her time in the U.S., Lee held solo and chamber music recitals and performed with various symphony orchestras. She collaborated with the NEC Big Band for the world premiere of the Jazz Violin Concerto at Jordan Hall. In 2003/2004, she was invited to perform at the Sapporo Pacific Music Festival in Japan. In 2004, she performed as a soloist in Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with the NSO Chamber Orchestra.

In addition to orchestral performances, Lee is also dedicated to chamber music and has worked with distinguished musicians such as Paul Huang. She currently serves as a first violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra.
