HORN
Wan-Ju Wang
Wang received her Bachelor’s degree in Music and English from National Taiwan Normal University. She later obtained her Master’s degree in Horn Performance from Mannes School of Music in New York, studying with Erik Ralske, principal horn of the Metropolitan Opera. She was awarded 2nd Prize in the Hsing Tian Temple Brass Competition and multiple national music awards, Wang also participated in masterclasses with Frøydis Ree Wekre, Stefan Dohr, Radovan Vlatković, Marie-Luise Neunecker, Radek Baborák, and Andre Cazalet. She is a former member of the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, now a horn player with the National Symphony Orchestra, Wang has performed across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., including major venues such as the Musikverein, Carnegie Hall, Philharmonie de Paris, Disney Hall, and Elbphilharmonie. She is also active as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator, currently teaching at Tunghai University, Wuling High School, Xindian High School, and other music programs in Taiwan.
