Loo Kit received both Master's and Bachelor's degrees from The Boston Conservatory, under Tom Siders and Steven Emery. Before his studies in the States, his main trumpet teachers in Singapore were Jun Ikebe and Yap Thien Soo. As a soloist, Loo Kit has performed Le Gay Paris with the OBOG Wind Symphony, Song and Dance with the Taiwan Brass Band and the Kent Kennan Trumpet Sonata with the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra. As an educator, Loo Kit has taught in brass camps in Taiwan, the 31st Naohiro Tsuken Trumpet Camp in Okinawa and the Penang International Brass Festival. He was also a presenter in the 2021 Virtual International Trumpet Guild Conference. Loo Kit teaches several schools in Taipei and mantains a small studio where many of his students have successfully applied to the schools of their dreams.
