Chi-Chuan Teng, who majors in the viola performance, got her D.M.A. from the Ohio State University. She is the viola associate principal of the National Symphony Orchestra. she teaches in the Department of Music of the Fu Jen Catholic University and the Christ’s College in Guandu.Ms. Teng has studied music from her childhood on. She has won the first prize many times in the National Music competition. She has studied with Prof. Edward Adelson, and has granted the scholarship as his TA. In addition, Ms. Teng has been awarded the Stanley Chapple Fellowship to attend the Tanglewood Music Festival, Boston three years in a row. Her virtuosity is highly acclaimed. At the present, Ms. Teng is active both as the violist and viola teacher.
