To pass on music inheritance is one of the most important missions of the NSO. The National Symphony Youth Orchestra (NSYO), established in 2023, is a perfect example of the NSO’s contributions towards nurturing talented new-generation musicians in Taiwan. Led by NSO Music Director Jun Märkl and joined by violinist Carolin Widmann, the NSYO will present four masterpieces in its concerts tour this year, engaging with local audiences of Miaoli, Nantou, Taitung, Kaohsiung, and Taipei.
