Cellist I Ting Chen is a member of National Symphony Orchestra, also a founding member of the 3+1 string quartet and has been active as a chamber musician, recitalist since her graduation from the New England Conservatory of Music. A native of Taiwan and prize winner of several Taiwanese national cello competitions, Started learning music since five years old. After graduation from senior high school, she went to U.S.A for further study, who acquired a Bachelor's Degree in music cello of Music Department of Florida International University and a Master's Degree of New England Conservatory of Music with the teaching of Keith Robinson, David Wells ,Peter Stumpf, Aldo Parisot and Andres Diaz . During the seven years in U.S.A, she achieved excellent academic performance and obtained full scholarship.

I Ting has had numerous chamber performances throughout the world, and had collaborated with Jean Francois Zygel，Radovan Vlatkovic’, Jean Dube’, Jean Edmond Bacquet.
