Chih-Hong Tseng

Born in Taoyuan, Tseng was admitted to the National Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) at the age of 16, and graduated from the Paris City Conservatory (CNR de Paris) with the first prize in the same year. Next year he was invited by Eastern Media Group to perform at the Taipei Arena for the 15th anniversary celebration. he graduated from CNSMDP with the first prize at the age of 20. At the age of 22, he went to Vienna to continue his studies. During this period, he has been invited in some music festival. The live performance was selected by the Vienna Classical Music Radio and served as the concertmaster of new operas and tour performances.

Since 2004 to 2010, he has been selected for three times in the "Young Musicians Treasure Project" organized by the Cultural Committee, and he gave his violin recital in the National Recital Hall of Taipei and the concert hall in another city of Taiwan. After returning to Taiwan in 2012, he has performed many concerts for violin solo and chamber music for NSO Recital Hall Concert series. he also been invited as a judges in the music competition and Hong Kong International Youth Music Festival in 2017.

Tseng is currently the tutti of 1st violin in NSO and teaches at Soochow University Music Department and the other schools.
