NSO 2021 Holds Auditions_Announcement

Taiwan Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following vacancy:

Concertmaster

Cello Principal

Auditions will be held on：

Concertmaster: 9:30 a.m. , September 6, 2021.

Cello Principal: 9:30 a.m. , September 11, 2021.

No video audition will be accepted.

Applicant will receive all necessary audition information by email prior to August 9, 2021.

Audition Process:

Multiple rounds of auditions will be held.

In addition to the auditions, the finalist(s) will be required to play a concert week with NSO including rehearsals and performance between September and December, 2021.

Audition Program:

a. Solo (Piano accompanist is required.)

b. Orchestral Excerpts

c. Concerts (for finalists)

For the finalists who currently live abroad, the orchestra will pay for the round-trip economy air tickets and accommodation for coming to Taiwan.

Applications should be received no later than August 6, 2021.
