In children's early period to know music, the prodigy Mozart, Papa Haydn and Beethoven form the “golden triangle”. It takes 100 hours to finish listening to all the works by Beethoven, however, this time, we are going to introduce Beethoven to children in merely 60 minutes! For more than 200 years, Beethoven’s music has pervaded in our lives: Ode to Joy, Für Elise, the “Moonlight” sonata, and the “Fate” symphony are all masterpieces by Beethoven; and kids may not know that these works were created after he lost his hearing gradually. The “Dear Little Ones” series are designed and produced for all children by the NSO Resident Conductor Yin- Fang Chang and the Concertmaster I-Ching Li, both as mothers of toddlers. By sharing “good music and good stories”, children can grow up with music, their most precious gift.
