For years, the team of NSO “Forever Tales” series has had faith in producing aesthetics-inspiring children concerts full of music and colors. A variety of different styles of music is rendered with dance, theatrical drama, animations and others, displaying the limitless world of art and classical music, so that our little ones can indulge in the big world of fun and beauty!

This time, the Puppet and Its Double Theater will once again combine exclusively creative puppet drama with children poetry and symphony, presenting Richman’s Behold the Bold Umbrellaphant!

NSO will also collaborate with publishers such as Global Kids Books, Artco KIDs, and PaPa Culture Publishing House to present the interesting world of children’s books. Bei Lynn will read her award-winning picture book, Ka-Da Ka-Da Ka-Da, matching the bespoke symphony piece newly composed by Ting-Chuna Chen, rendering the “world premiere” of the combination of both works! The charming voice of Uncle Ada, Ching-Yen Liu, will sound along with the music “The Arrival of the Queen Sheba”, as if to see the grand parade hosted by the Dutch emperor in the 17th century depicted in Aspeen and the Emperor’s New Clothes…

In addition, “Today is the Day for Maracas” will invite all the audience, no matter how old you are, to perform “body percussion” with NSO musicians! Let’s rock the National Concert Hall!!!

※The duration of the programme is approximately 70 minutes and there is no interval. Suitable for children aged three and up.
